Thoughts from Wally Dog's World
Every year at this time, Wally Dog gets sad.  The kids are going back to school and he'll be alone much of the day.  But this year is
different.  Ethel's oldest is leaving for college tomorrow.
It seems to Ethel that it was just yesterday when she finally was able to bring a baby home.  Wally's predecessor, Molly, was blessed to
be the first dog to get to see and claim her as her own person.  Molly loved Kari and so does Wally.  Molly followed Kari and the other girls
wherever they went, even when she could hardly walk anymore.  Wally would do the same (if there weren't leash laws!)  Ethel is near to
fits knowing her baby is leaving...even if the baby is much taller and smarter than Ethel.

So Wally is presenting some tips for Dog owners who know a big change is coming.

Wally Dog's Tips for a Grieving Heart
1.  If possible, prepare for the loss in advance.  Give extra love and attention to the one leaving as well as your pet.
2.  Allow the pet (and/or person) time to feel sad.  It isn't easy.
3.  Try to follow routine to keep things as normal as possible.
4.  Allow the pet time to adjust.  Don't take away the personal effects immediately.  Leave that bed right where it belongs.
5.  Increase activity.  Exercise and activity are good ways to feel better.  (Ethel will make custom dog clothes to take her mind away...Wally
Dog will hobble around looking for things to take from the cat.  The cat will hide and look for ways to sneak attack Wally.)
6.  Hold on to those still around and give them extra attention.
So...you all know Wally Dog wears a sad face because his first kid is going to college and Ethel is making custom Wally Dog Wear dog
clothes to keep her mind off of things.  And it's been kind of crazy with packing and the usual daily stuff.  Wally had to laugh when he heard
about the four car drive to college.

Ethel left in the Honda to take it to the shop in West Allis. Kari and GG were in the van. Jenwise was supposed to follow Kari in the
Mustang to Mequon. Fred was running late and supposed to pick Ethel up at the shop in the Bronco so they could ride together.
Well...Kari followed Ethel to the auto shop instead of going to Mequon.  Jenwise kind of followed Kari then took off on 45N. Kari caught
Ethel at the auto shop in West Allis saying Jenwise had passed her and she didn't know what to do. Jenwise and Abidoodle had taken
the wrong road. Kari called them and told them to pull off at the next exit and stop and wait for Ethel and Kari. (Thank God for cell
phones!)...So Ethel left a message for Fred to go to Mequon.  Ethel got in the van with Kari and GG and drove until they found Jenwise and
Abidoodle. They told Ethel they were in a parking lot near the blue Wauwatosa water tower. Ethel, Kari, and GG found out there were at
least three blue Wauwatosa water towers before they found Abidoodle and Jenwise So...they pulled out to get onto the correct
highway...then got a call from a hysterical Abidoodle saying the car was on fire...they were a few cars back...so Ethel cussed and yelled
and told Jenwise to take the parking brake off...Abidoodle contuned to scream..so Kari told them to pull over. When they did Ethel walked
back to a cryng Abidoodle and a frustrated Jenwise. Jenwise had forgotten to take off the parking brake and some lady told them the car
was on fire.  (That'll teach her to ride with the top down so people can yell at her and she can hear.)  So Ethel got in the Mustang to drive.
GG joined Ethel  and Jenwise.  Abidoodle went to ride with Kari because she thought the car was going to blow up...Fred, who left after all
of them...beat them all to Condordia.
Wally Dog wears a big grin as he lounges in the sun in his custom made dog jacket.  The weather has a slight chill but the sun is out and
Wally Dog likes his custom dog clothes when they protect his skin.  Anyway...Wally is excited that the kids are off to school.  They'll be
happier to see him when they get home!

Ethel is making a vest for Jenwise.  She's hoping it will be as easy as the pattern says!  She just made a doggy puppy bunting and a faux
fur dog coat.  She has dog t-shirts to sew, too.  Ethel is preparing for things to do during school, including updating
www.wallydogwear.com.  Wally Dog is preparing for a nap!
Wally Dog and Ethel used to wonder when the kids would quit knocking everything on to the floor.  Many times, Wally would be blamed.
Well, he has been known to knock things off the coffee table with his tail...Now that the kids are older, Wally and Ethel wonder when they
will pick up their dishes and food wrappers.  Wally Dog gladly cleans the food off the plates but he can't figure out how to take them to the
dishwasher and put them in.  Ethel wishes he could.  Not, however, that he would continue to try to eat the wrappers when no one is
looking.  It sometimes works out, sometimes not.  He's been known to barf up a corn husk from a tamale or to have confetti poop full of
Warheads wrappers.  Those at least give Ethel something different to look at!  Ha!

Wally Dog's Tip of the Day
Keep your food and candy wrappers in a covered trash can.  Place them there as soon as possible to keep them from being tempting to
your pet.  When you catch your pet looking at the wrappers, plates, leftovers, etc. and can't get them out of the way quickly enough, give
your pet a sharp, "No!"  This will likely distract the pet and teach him some manners.  Your pet should always look fabulous in a custom
dog coat or other custom dog clothes and his manners should match!  Take a look at http://www.wallydogwear.com and see what great
outfit you can have created.
The other day, Ethel mentioned out loud that her family is not particularly healthy.  One of the kids replied, "Yes we are."  Not to be
challenged, Ethel said, "Okay.  We don't eat very healthily.  When's the last time you ate a vegetable?"  GG replied, "YESTERDAY!  I ate a
pickle."

Hmm...not exactly what I'd call a basic ingredient for a healthy diet.  (Ethel is doing better on that score.  She cut herself while making
custom dog clothes so no more scissors today!  That dog Wally Dog Wear dog coat is going to have to wait until tomorrow.)  She's
preparing a nice pork loin roast, fresh corn on the cob, and sautéed mushrooms.  Zucchini bread for dessert.  (Why's it called bread?  For
crying out loud, it's just cake with hidden vegetable!)  Ethel feels Wally needs a treat, too, so she's sharing a favorite doggy treat recipe
with you.

Wally Bones: Douse three dog bones (knuckles, soup bones, whatever big joint bone the grocer will sell you) in Worcestershire sauce,
garlic salt, and a dash of onion powder.  Bake at 300 degrees for two hours in a baking dish.  (Best done on a day you can open the
windows!)  Allow to cool.  Refrigerate two of the bones and give one to Wally (or your dog).  This will keep your dog busy for a while and
will clean his teeth.  If you'd like to prolong the pleasure, smear peanut butter into a marrow crevice.
Wally Dog and Ethel are looking ahead to the upcoming season of custom dog costumes.  Since Ethel is trying to make super custom
dog clothing, dog costumes are on her mind.  And Wally's, too.

Here are some of Wally Dogs custom dog clothing costume tips for a safe season.

Wally Dog Wear Tips for Dog Costumes
•        Make sure the dog coat, dog dress, or dog costume is the correct size for your pet.  Loose dog clothes tend to trip up the doggy.
•        Make sure the dog clothing has adjustable closings for a comfortable fit.
•        If your dog will be going out during dark hours, make sure to have reflective tape on the dog costume.
•        Do a trial run with dog costumes to get your dog ready to be sociable.  Sometimes your pet will not appreciate the dog clothes.
(Wally got the best laugh out of Mr. Tux trying on a custom dog coat and hat.  Mr. Tux wouldn't stand up.  He kept falling over.  Wally had the
video posted on YouTube so he could share the laugh with family and friends).
•        Which brings us to the last dog costume tip.  Take lots of pictures and videos.  You'll love looking back and sharing memories.
Wally Dog is getting fed up with Ethel.  Ethel has a theory that she has a weird electrical field around her body that makes things break.
Like her sewing machine which is the latest.  She usually kills TVs, computers, and garbage disposals.  So the sewing machine is the
latest and the most annoying for Wally Dog.  She was making dog costumes for Wally Dog Wear custom dog clothing when the sewing
machine quit working.  Talking nicely to it didn’t work.  Nor did swearing at it…which is where Wally Dog got fed up.  Ethel needs to put the
custom dog clothing away for a while and ponder her next theory.

Ethel has a further theory about electrical fields. When she took the machine to the shop that rebuilt it the last time it fritzed, it worked just
fine for the technician.  Ethel’s new addendum to her theory is that mechanics, repairmen, and the handyman have electrical fields that
are technology and mechanical friendly.

Wally doesn’t know about any of that…but he sure wishes Ethel could figure out how to quit breaking things…….

Wally Dog’s Tips for a Cranky Owner
1.        Stuff breaks.  Deal with it.  Pet dog, then smile.
2.        If stuff breaks badly, take to repair person.  Pet dog, then smile.
3.        If owner is cranky, pet dog, then smile.
4.        If owner is still cranky, pet dog, smile, and take dog for a walk.
5.        If owner further displays a bad temperament, pet dog, smile, and take a nap.  Pet dog when you awaken.
Wally Dog Enjoys a Cool Ride

Wally Dog is getting ready for one of his last top down rides of the season.  He has on his Wally Dog Wear custom dog snood to hold his
ears close and keep them warm.  Gotta do something to stay warm when you’re mostly bald and plan on sticking your head in the
breeze!  He's thinking about his other dog clothes, too.  Maybe he'll put on a dog coat, too.  It's best to be prepared.

Wally is going to go on a long ride before the weather turns colder.  He’s not looking forward to the cool weather.  He likes the warm
breezes.  Then again, Wally also likes it when the weather is super cold and Ethel invites him into the living room to nap in front of the
fireplace.  So, it’s just the in between weather that gets to Wally.  And the snow when it’s February and everyone is cranky from being
inside.  In the meantime, Wally’s going to enjoy a nice long ride.

Check out www.wallydogwear.com to see Wally in his dog snood.
Wally Dog Wears a Smile as Cousin Returns from Deployment

Ethel thinks she will make a Wally Dog Wear custom dog Camouflage Soldier costume for him this year. It'll be a copy of the Wally Dog
Wear Costume Line for a green camo dog costume with dog hat.  Wally will be able to wear the dog coat later, too, and he would look
fabulous in a camo dog hat.  It’ll be an addition to his custom dog clothing.  He's going to do this as a tribute.

You see, Wally Dog is happy today.  His human cousin returned from overseas deployment with the Guard.  Tony was in the Middle East
serving his country, leaving family and friends behind, concerned for him all of the time.  Emails were seldom.  Facebook contact was
sometimes the only way they could sporadically hear from him.  While he was gone, his toddler child grew without daddy, his grandfather
died, and Tony had surgery for appendicitis.  His wife’s cousin died when his barracks were bombed.  Tony couldn’t be there to console
anyone.  The immediate concern for him notched up.

The heat and sand were fierce.  And then came the day he was moving a piece of heavy equipment with his fellow soldier.  Sweaty and
tired, the partner let the piece fall—on Tony’s foot.

Tony’s back in the states now.  We’re all grateful.  We’re all hoping and praying the surgery on his foot goes well.  That he’ll have good
medical care.  And that his job will be waiting for him when he is better.

So Wally Dog wears a smile today along with a grateful heart.  Wally Dog Wear custom dog clothing  salutes all of those who have
sacrificed for our country and the service of others.

Wally Dog Wears a Pirate Hat

Wally Dog is ready for the Pirate parade today in Pewaukee.  He is wearing a custom made Wally Dog Wear dog clothes costume pirate
hat to celebrate.  He’s ready for the guys to battle on the field.  Two undefeated teams.  Should be a good game after the parade and pep
rally.  Too bad the weather guy on tv isn’t hopeful for his alma mater.  Aargh!

Wally is also ready for homecoming to be over.  Ethel has been sewing homecoming dresses for weeks now for the girls.  Not a dog
dress for Wally Dog!  Don’t go thinking that…Ethel does people clothes, too.  Then uses the leftover materials to create cool Wally Dog
Wear dog dresses and dog costumes.  Pewaukee colors make a great pirate dog  costume or a Dracula cape!

You can see a custom made Wally Dog Wear Pirate dog coat made for the Pirates team at http://www.wallydogwear.com/coats.html.
Wally Dog Says it WAS Worth It to Wear the Dog Hat

Wally Dog says it was worth wearing the dog costume Pirate hat yesterday.  Even though the temperature dropped a little, and the parade
was stopped as usual for a train, and it then rained…it was worth it to enjoy the Friday of Homecoming.  The parade was typical small
town America and a lot of fun to watch family and friends in the parade.  (Why does the short flute player always get stuck in the middle of
the marching band?  No photos of anything more of her than her feet!)  Wally also got to snicker at the adults who were pretending to pick
up candy for their kids.  Wally believes they were hoarding the chocolate bars for themselves and giving the dum dum suckers to their
kids.  Wally Dog cracked up as Ethel scrambled for Moes coupons.

Then they went to the community pep rally.  That was a blast even though Wally had to wait outside.  He could hear the cheers.  And then
the game…Woohoo! The Pirates took down the Falcons who were also undefeated.  Take that weather guy!  Go Pirates!  Even in the rain,
they were exciting to watch.

Now Wally just has to survive the girls getting ready for the homecoming dance. It amazes him how much they’ll go to for a party.  He
hopes they’ll have a great time…and not be cranky tomorrow.

Maybe Ethel will add to the Wally Dog Wear custom dog clothing line by making a raincoat dog coat for Wally for next year’s homecoming
weekend…one with a pirate hat, of course!
So…the other day Ethel saw a commercial for a dog food that is supposed to make a dog an “optimal pooper”.  Wally has that one down
without special food…A few days later, she saw a dog food that is supposed to help make a dog’s coat shine.  Ethel bought some.  Wally
would like to know if it will make his coat (what’s left of it) shine or if it will be the equivalent of doggy rogaine?  Wally Dog hopes so.  He’d
like some new fur.

Ethel got an order for some new custom dog clothes for a Komondor dog.  His owner wanted two dog snoods to keep his ears clean.
Ethel had never heard of a Komondor dog so she googled him.  It’s an amazing dog.  Looks like a walking rug.  Wally Dog thinks the
Komondor dog is just rubbing it in that he has fur and Wally doesn’t.  Maybe the special dog food will kick in and Wally Dog will need a
Wally Dog Wear dog snood too.
Wally Dog Wears a Big Grin at the Personal Ad

Wally Dog is grinning from ear to ear.  Ethel read the following ad to him that was purported to be from the Atlanta Journal. Very clever.

SINGLE BLACK FEMALE seeks male companionship, ethnicity unimportant. I'm a very good girl who LOVES to play. I love long walks in
the woods, riding in your pickup truck, hunting, camping and fishing trips, cozy winter nights lying by the fire... Candlelight dinners will
have me eating out of your hand.. I'll be at the front door when you get home from work, wearing only what nature gave me... Call and ask
for Daisy, I'll be waiting....

Check out the picture.

Over 150 men found themselves talking to the Atlanta Humane Society.  And Wally Dog is pretty sure he would have put on his best Wally
Dog Wear dog coat, taken a picture, and made a play for the babe himself.

On a more serious note, please support your local humane society or animal shelter.  Mr. Tux came from a shelter as did his
predecessor and Ethel’s family believes shelters are the best place for a new pet!
Ethel has taken a break from making Wally Dog Wear custom dog clothing.  She’s a bit tired of making dog costumes to make a dog look
like a bunny, a frog, and even a leopard.  Next up is a dog Ewok costume.  But that’s going to wait a day or two and Wally Dog is glad.  He
enjoys watching Ethel paint…because she tends to snack while she paints…and she occasionally shares her snacks with Wally!

Ethel is going to custom paint a football for a bride to use as a wedding book registry.  Kind of cool, huh?  Wally Dog likes this idea.  He
likes to play with balls, even footballs though they roll funny.  Better yet, Wally Dog likes to put on his Superdog dog coat and catch flying
popcorn. His record is 39 catches in a row.  He can only hope Ethel will be snacking on popcorn today as she paints!
Is it Too Late for Wally Dog to Paper Train?

Ethel is concerned for Wally Dog for the upcoming cold weather.  Wally’s remaining legs aren’t working as well as they used to work.  She
is worried that Wally Dog will have trouble on the ice and in the snow.  To that end, she is going to make some Wally Dog Wear dog
booties to match his custom faux fur dog coat.  (Remember…he doesn’t have much hair!)

Making dog clothing for Wally Dog might help make him a little more comfortable.  However, Ethel wonders if it is too late to paper train
Wally?  Admittedly, he can pee for what seems like hours and is a champion pooper.  But can he be taught to do it in the laundry room on
newspaper? Any tips out there?
Wally Dog Talks about Pretty Pet Contests

Wally Dog heard about a contest for “your favorite furry friend”.  That made him wonder if he would qualify.  He’s certainly a favorite friend,
even family member, but furry?  Less and less hair for Wally as the years go by.  Should he enter anyway?  Will he be disqualified
because he is follicularly challenged?  And what about the leg…or lack thereof?

Wally Dog is feeling a bit revolutionary.  Perhaps it is time we redefined our definition of pet beauty.  Perhaps Wally Dog should lead the
charge for handicapped pets.  Wally Dog is thinking he might like to march on New York, the capitol of pet beauty…er…hop on NY.

Hmm…with those  thoughts in mind, Wally will need a new Wally Dog Wear custom dog clothing wardrobe.  He thinks he would like a
new faux fur dog coat.  And a dog scarf made from warm fleece.  Ooh…and a dog beret…he thinks a doggy hat would make a statement.
Wally Dog is Having Fun with A New Site

In fact, Wally Dog is wearing a smile because he has made friends with folks all of the way over in Philadelphia.  They like custom dog
clothes there, too, and are even having a parade.  Awesome!  Wally Dog is hoping some of the Wally Dog Wear costumes will be
included.  He thinks Ethel should make a liberty bell dog costume…um, no, on second thought.  It would be too hard to get the lettering
done.

If you’d like to check out a fun site, go to http://www.thephillydog.com.  There are some interesting events going on, thoughtful blogs, and
even some shopping sites.  Wally is recommending this to all of his dog friends!
Wally Dog is Worried

Ethel is making more other type clothes rather than new items for Wally Dog Wear custom dog clothing.  She’s sewing zip up hoodies,
fur hand muffs, and little girl dresses.  She’s even…gulp!...making a Marge Simpson dog costume for a cat!!!!  What’s up with that?  Wally
isn’t sure, so he thinks he’ll take a dog nap on this dreary day.
Wally Dog wants to extend his congratulations to the Pewaukee Pirates.  Way to go football team!  And Lady Pirates Swim Team.
Woohoo!  (Wally dog isn’t allowed to go to the swim meets…they’re afraid he’ll smell like wet dog.  Aw…come on!)
Wally Dog is excited today.
Dad is letting him stay in the house because it is cold still and Ethel’s Wally Dog Wear custom dog clothing White Rabbit Bunny dog
costume has been featured in a treasury on Etsy.  If you get a chance, check it out.  In the meantime, Wally Dog is going to consider a
nap.  http://www.etsy.com/treasury_list.php?room_id=90153
Wally Dog is so Proud

Wally Dog is so very proud of his kids and their school.  PHS JV Swim team won its second Conference Title.  That’s back to back!  And
the football team won its conference title, too.  Back to back!  And the Girls Cross Country team won its conference title, too.  Again.  That’
s back to back!  Wally Dog likes this back to back legacy.

Wally Dog likes, too, that many of these same kids carry high GPA’s, participate in other sports, band, clubs, and community
volunteerism.  Let’s support these student athletes and pass the referendum.

While he waits, Wally Dog is going to watch Ethel add a new dog coat to the Wally Dog Wear custom dog clothing line.  It’s going to be
representative of a college and will include some fancy sewing.  Ethel is going to have to make her own checkerboard material to make
this custom dog coat.  And she’s going to have to embroider the dog coat.  Wally Dog is sure going to enjoy this one.  Ethel likes a
challenge and will likely give him extra doggy treats to help her.
Wally Dog's Holiday Tips

Wally Dog loved the weekend because Ethel and the family pretty much took a break from working on Wally Dog Wear
custom dog clothing and from being spazzy about school.  They went to movies and shopped and watched lots of tv
and played cards.  Wally loved it because there wasn’t the usual stress sounds going on (read that yelling and
fussing) that occur in a big household.  Instead there was laughter and snacks.  Wally Dog really appreciated the
snacks.  Well, except that they wouldn’t share the tapatias because of the effects of beans and jalapenos on Wally’s
system.  Nobody wants to be around him, even the cat, when he’s had jalapenos!
Wally Dog believes everyone should kick back and relax once in a while, even the pets.   So, with the stress of the
holidays coming up, Wally has made a list of relaxing tips for Thanksgiving.

Wally Dog’s Thanksgiving Tips
•        Have some fun and make a turkey center piece from a pinecone and some colored paper.
•        Order the Thanksgiving feast from Boston Market but make your own stuffing and an extra pie.
•        Have the kids set the table. Don’t forget a nice placemat for your pet to let him celebrate, too.  (Ethel makes a
super cute Wally Dog Wear custom dog clothing placemat-shaped like a bone.  Wally likes his.)
•        A couple of days before, check out free holiday movies from the library.  “It’s a Wonderful Life” is a Thanksgiving
treat at Wally’s house.  “A Christmas Story” is a favorite at Christmas.
•        Invite someone who’d be alone or without a good meal to join you.
•        Don’t over eat.  It’ll make you feel bad in more ways than one.
•        Stock up on the Pepto just in case someone overindulges.
•        Plan a nap after cleaning the table.  That turkey is sure to make you sleepy.
•        Plan some activities other than a movie.  How about a puzzle, board game, or cards?
•        Give thanks.  Giving thanks puts everything into perspective.
Cold Weather Tips

Wally Dog has never been so happy to put on a Wally Dog Wear custom dog clothing faux fur coat as he was this
morning!  Brr!  With the cold weather in mind, Wally Dog would like to do a series of tips for dogs in cold weather,
beginning with outdoor dogs.
Outdoor Dogs
In severely cold weather, bring your dog inside the house.  Remember, if you’re cold, your pet is likely to be cold as
well unless he is a breed that normally lives in the cold and snow such as a husky.  Other dogs do not do well outside
for more than a few minutes without protection as they do not have the fur needed for protection.  If you absolutely
cannot bring your dog inside, try these tips.
1.         Provide a heated dog house.
2.        The dog house should be large enough for the dog to turn around in but not so big as to prevent the heat from
staying around your pet.
3.        Make sure there is unfrozen water at your dog’s disposal.  There are heated water dishes that can be found at
pet stores and farm supply stores.  Search the web for “heated water dish”.  It will provide a nice listing of products.
4.        Place thick, dry materials in the dog house to help keep the cold down.
5.        Ideally, the dog house should be elevated and insulated with a narrow opening to keep the cold out.
6.        Dogs outside may need extra food to keep warm.  Consider this when feeding your dog.
7.        Heat the dog food before giving it to your pet.  Just as a warm drink warms you up, a warm meal will help your
dog feel warm.
8.        Check for frostbite.  Frostbitten skin may appear grey or red.  Ears, tails, and footpads are especially
susceptible.
9.        Invest in a good sweater or dog coat.  Wally Dog likes his Wally Dog Wear coats and feels very protected in
them.  He has several so one can be dry at all times.
More Wally Dog Wear Custom Dog Clothes Cold Weather Tips

There seems to be lots of good information for your dog during cold weather.  Many of these tips apply to cats, as well,
so please remember to care for your pets.  Their love for you should be rewarded.
•        When walking your dog in cold weather, never let him off the leash.  He can lose his ability to scent and therefore
become lost.  Snow and ice, especially during a snowstorm, can be extremely hazardous.
•        Wipe off your dog’s feet and stomach after a walk.  De-icing agents and anti-freeze will often attach to your dog.
They can become lethal and poison your dog, at the very least causing diarrhea and vomiting; at the worst, death.
•        Another reason to wipe down your dog is to get these chemicals off your pet’s foot.  They can cause cuts, dry
pads, and ice balls, all of which will make it uncomfortable for your pet to walk.
•        If you see your pet licking at his feet, stopping and whining, or refusing to move during a walk outside, stop
immediately for a paw inspection.  He may have ice balls, cuts, or frostbite.
•        Before walking, make sure your pet is completely dry.  Walks after a bath without proper drying can cause
hypothermia or even a very bad case of the chills.
•        Never shave your dog in the winter.  He will need a longer coat to provide warmth.
•        If you own a short hair dog, invest in a dog coat or sweater.  Wally Dog Wear custom dog clothing has many
wonderful coats with extra wide belly straps, collars, and hoods to keep your pet comfortable.
Wally Dog is home again and so very glad to have returned.  When we got home, he went straight inside, down the
stairs, and into his crate for a long night’s sleep on his Wally Dog Wear custom dog clothing crate pad.  Ahh…
The tips Ethel posted for travelling dogs sure came in handy.  Especially the one about making sure the hotel will
accept pets.  Wally was very grateful that Embassy Suites likes dogs.  He enjoyed a night hanging out with the girls
and watching TV.  AND, he enjoyed saying hello to the Basset hound that was also staying there.
It was too bad that the dogs near his grandma’s house weren’t as friendly.  Wally was bitten on one of hind legs.  It
wasn’t a bad bite, no stitches or anything, but Wally sure didn’t appreciate it.  Ethel is going to make him a set of Wally
Dog Wear doggy leg warmers to cover the scab…and, well…just for the fun of it.
Wally Dog’s Sweet Tooth and a Trekkie Solution?

Wally Dog has the worst sweet tooth.  No candy or gum is safe in the house.  So what was Ethel thinking
when she put candy in the kids’ Christmas stockings?  (Got them late…long story…)  Wally evidently
perfected a stocking dumping/chewing technique that allowed the stockings and glass/plastic items to be
emptied with minimal damage.  The candy, however, was eaten, wrappings and all.  There will be some
interesting looking poop in the snow today!
This all leads Ethel to wonder…is there a way to get a dog to not eat sweets?
As Ethel wonders, she will be making some new Wally Dog Wear custom dog clothing Star Trek outfits in
Captain Kirk style. (Check out Ethel’s Wally Dog Wear custom dog clothing shop on Etsy!) http://www.
etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=37862274  She’s making a large shirt for a man and a cute little
ruffle butt pants and top for his baby.   Both to include Star Trek insignia.  She’s thinking of making a
Wally Dog Wear custom dog shirt (minus a leg for Wally) to match them.  Perhaps Scotty could beam
Wally up when he finds candy!
